Our recruitment services
We provide permanent recruitment services when we introduce candidates to clients for direct employment, and act as an employment business when we supply temporary workers. We do this in line with UK legislation governing recruitment businesses, including the 1973 Act (1973 c. 35) and the Conduct Regulations 2003 (SI 2003/3319) (the “Conduct Regulations”).
Before we provide services to a client or a temporary worker, we will agree separate written terms with them as the Conduct Regulations require (our “Terms of Business”). If those Terms of Business conflict with these Terms, the Terms of Business will apply.
We use reasonable skill and care in providing our services. However, we cannot guarantee that a candidate will be found for a particular vacancy, that a candidate will be offered a role, or that a placement will last.
Candidates
- We never charge candidates a fee for finding them work or for providing work-finding services, as required by Regulation 6 of the Conduct Regulations.
- You must make sure that all information you give us, including your CV, qualifications and right-to-work details, is true, accurate and up to date.
- We will always discuss a role with you before we send your CV to a prospective employer.
- You must have the legal right to work in the UK, or obtain it, before you start any role we introduce you to.
- Job adverts on or through our Website do not form a contract or an offer of employment.
Clients
- Fees for permanent placements, temporary workers and CV sourcing services are set out in our Terms of Business or in a written quotation. Unless stated otherwise, all fees are shown excluding VAT.
- Candidate details we provide are confidential. They are provided only for the vacancy concerned and must not be passed to any third party without our written consent.
- If a client engages a candidate we have introduced, directly or indirectly, within 12 months of our introduction, an introduction fee will be payable as set out in our Terms of Business.
- Clients are responsible for their own recruitment decisions, including checking references, qualifications and right to work, unless we have agreed in writing to carry out specific checks.
- Clients must handle candidate personal data in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, acting as an independent controller of that data.
- Refunds and rebates are dealt with under our Refund Policy and Terms of Business.

We, or our licensors, own all intellectual property rights in the Website and its content, including text, graphics, logos and design. These are protected by copyright and trade mark laws. Subject to that, we will not be liable to any user, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, for any loss or damage arising from:
