What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit it. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s “local storage”, work in a similar way. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, and to give information to website owners.
How we use cookies
Xpert-Career keeps cookies to a minimum. We only use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary for our website to work and to remember your privacy choices. We do not use advertising, tracking or third-party analytics cookies.
Our fonts and images are hosted on our own server, so visiting our website does not send your data to third-party font or content providers.
Cookies we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| xc_cookie_consent | Local storage (strictly necessary) | Remembers your cookie choice so we do not ask you again on every page | Until you clear your browser storage |
| PHPSESSID | Session cookie (strictly necessary) | Set only when you submit our contact or CV upload form, to protect it from spam and repeated submissions | Deleted when you close your browser |
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), strictly necessary cookies do not need your consent. We still tell you about them so that you know what is stored on your device.
Third-party cookies
We do not currently allow any third parties to set cookies through our website. If we ever introduce optional cookies, such as analytics, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before setting them. You will be able to accept or reject them.
Our pages may link to other websites, such as job boards or social networks. Those sites have their own cookie and privacy policies, which we do not control.
Managing your choices
